Swansea City are rumored to be looking at Dutch striker Koen van der Biezen after press reports from The Netherlands linked the player to The Liberty Stadium outfit.

He is the club’s top scorer this season and according to sources in Holland Scouts from Swansea City were spotted at the De Vliert on friday evening as Den Bosch secured a 3-1 win over AGOVV Apeldoorn.The 22 year old striker scored the 3rd goal in the clubs win.

Director of football Fred van der Hoorn went on the record and flatly denied that there had been any approach by Swansea City.

Technical manager of FC Den Bosch Fred van der Hoorn said:

‘I have heard nothing, and clubs will really have to sign with us first.’

‘He is at the end of the season under contract with us and we are talking about a new contract. I think he would be wise to stay.’



The striker has been with Den Bosch since 2006 after his transfer from FC Utrecht.The player is available on a free transfer at the end of the season.
