Swansea City are being linked with a bid for Preston North End striker Jamie Proctor.

According to Wales Online, manager Brendan Rodgers is looking at Proctor as a possible January transfer window target, but he hasn’t exactly been firing the goals in this season so far.

This season, Proctor has made 19 appearances, scoring 3 goals. Aged just 19 however, Rodgers may see him as a player for the future.

Rodgers has confirmed interest in N.E.C midfielder John Goossens which Vital Swansea reported on last week, but it seems that the player is not interested in leaving his club until the Summer.

The Swans boss has also confirmed a second bid has been made for Cliftonville striker Rory Donnelly whilst Middlesbrough skipper Matthew Bates is being linked again with a move to the Liberty Stadium.
