Swansea City are now being linked with a £600,000 bid for Watford striker Danny Graham.

It seems that transfer targets with the Swans this Summer are like buses, none for ages and then 2 or 3 come along at once. The only thing with this story is that it’s being reported in the Daily Star – a newspaper that’s never been right about the Swans and possible transfers.

Vital Watford reported this news earlier today and you can read their article here Graham would be a big loss for the Hornets having scored 14 goals in 37 games last term. Vital Watford believe he has the potential to be a 20-goal-a-season striker in the near future.

Strikers is Swansea City weakest area, and the fans especially want to see it strengthened ahead of the new Championship campaign. Stephen Dobbie looks like he’ll be back as a permanent move to Blackpool has now been ruled out.

Whilst I’d like us to sign a player like Graham who has proven he can score goals at this level, you have to take the story with a pinch of salt considering it’s only been reported in the Daily Star.
