Albert Serran made his return from injury as the Reserves side beat Bournemouth 2-0 at the Gnoll.

The Spanish defender played in his first game since the Summer after recovering from an ankle ligament injury.

He played 85 minutes of the game as he moves a big step closer to being available for selection in the first team.

He played alongside Abu Bakr and Marcos Painter also featured after missing Saturday’s League game at home to Blackpool.

Besian Idrizaj has a habit of scoring in Reserves games since joining the club recently and put us in front early in the second half.

It wasn’t until 15 minutes from the end that Chad Bond sealed the win after slotting the ball home following Serran’s pass.
