Swansea City are reportedly keen on signing QPR duo Leroy Fer and Junior Hoilett this Summer.
Hoilett’s contract at QPR expires next month and the winger is apparently not willing to reduce his £45,000-per-week wages to stay at Loftus Road. There’s likely to be a similar scenario with Leroy Fer who is keen on staying with the Swans after an enjoyable loan spell since January. His contract expires next year so he’ll be available at a reduced transfer fee.
Reports here suggest that Swans chairman Huw Jenkins was interested in signing the winger back in 2013, so it’s feasible that he’s still a transfer target. Jack Cork was one player that Jenkins pursued over a few years before finally being able to sign him for a £3m fee.
Read our stats article here as we compare Fer’s stats with other Swansea midfielders, as we wonder whether or not he’s good enough to earn a contract at the Liberty Stadium.
In other transfer news, Gomis and Ayew have been linked with interest from Sunderland, while Lille could bid £3.5m (5m euros) to keep on loan striker Eder.
