Swansea City are again showing an interest in Stoke City striker Eidur Gudjohnsen.

The former Chelsea and Barcelona striker was a target for manager Brendan Rodgers at the beginning of the year but a move to South Wales never happened for the 32 year-old as he joined Fulham instead. He made 10 appearances for the Craven Cottage club but didn’t score a goal.

Reports on twitter suggest that his agent has confirmed Swansea City’s interest in the player, and he will have talks with Brendan Rodgers following his climb up Mount Kilimanjaro.

It seems that the Swans boss is still looking to boost his frontline despite signing Watford striker Danny Graham for a club record £3.5m fee.

Villareal midfielder Marcos Senna has also been linked with a move to the Swans as well as Barcelona B striker Jonathan Soriano and Spurs defender Steven Caulker.
