Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has declared that we have ended our interest in Millwall defender Zak Whitbread, according to the Evening Post.

The American centre back was a keen target for the Swans back in the Summer but he picked up an injury which prevented us from making a move for Zak.

Now the 25 year-old looks set to join League One side Norwich City for a transfer fee of around £500,000.

Swansea City have other targets in mind and Paulo Sousa is still keen to bring in a striker at some point during the January transfer window.
