Swansea City and Derby County have both been charged by the FA for failing to control their players during Saturday’s game at Pride Park.
A brawl was sparked by Gorka Pintado’s awful tackle on Robbie Savage, as the County players rushed over to the scene to show their disgust towards the Spaniard – he was shortly shown a straight red card.

The brawl, which you have to say only involved Swansea City players because Pintado was initially outnumbered by 5 or 6 Derby County players – as their goalkeeper Bywater was even seen to throw his hand in Gorka’s face.

Derby County have until March 9th to respond to the FA’s charges, while Swansea City have until March 5th to reply to the Football Association of Wales.

James McEveley, who was sent off for a second yellow card has to reply by Tuesday to an improper conduct charge.
