Swansea City have confirmed their third signing of the Summer
Swansea City have confirmed their third signing of the Summer, with the arrival of Swedish goalkeeper Kristoffer Nordfeldt.
He signed a 3-year contract after completing a move from Dutch side Heerenveen for an undisclosed fee.
The initial reports of Swansea’s interest in the goalkeeper suggested that the 26 year-old wasn’t keen on being a second choice goalkeeper, having been used to regular football at his previous club.
However, fortunately either the reports were inaccurate or the player has since been convinced – like Ayew and Tabanou before him – that a move to Premier League Swansea City is the right one.
Barcelona’s 19 year-old goalkeeper Guillermo Lara is also reported to be signing this month, as Monk also looks for a goalkeeper for the under-21s squad.
