Swansea City are again being linked with French striker Bafetimbi Gomis

Swansea City are again being linked with French striker Bafetimbi Gomis, who is available on a free this Summer.

Last Summer, we reported that the Swans were keen to sign the forward, and they had offered better personal terms that what was already on offer at Lyon.

Swansea City will face tough competition to sign the 28 year-old, and his representative Willie McKay said:

‘Bafetimbi is one of the best free agents in Europe at the moment. He’s quick, strong and most importantly scores goals.’

West Ham, Sunderland and Galatasaray are three of many clubs who have been linked with the frontman, who has netted 62 goals in 170 games for his French club.

While the media are reporting that the Swans are in search of a forward replacement for starman Wilfried Bony, manager Garry Monk still needs another striker as he is currently very low on attacking options.
