Winger Nathan Dyer won the Swansea City Player of the Year at tonight’s Awards evening held at the Liberty Stadium.

It was no great surprise that Dyer won. He’s been consistently brilliant throughout the entire season and he fully deserves the award. He’s caused problems for so many defenders who have had the misfortune of trying to defend against him this season.

The Players’ Player of the Year award went to Dorus De Vries, while Neil Taylor claimed the Young Player of the Year.

‘Club Ambassador’ went to defender Ashley Williams for his work with his charity ‘Will’s World’.

Scott Sinclair picked up two awards, for Best Goal – the fantastic run and strike at home against Nottingham Forest, and Best Newcomer Award.

Ben Davies claimed the Youth Development Player of the Year and the Lifetime Achievement Award went to Gwillym Joseph.

More information on the awards night coming soon.
