Swansea City’s Premier League fixtures for the coming 2015-16 campaign will be known on the all important date of Wednesday June 17.

It seems barely a moment ago we drew the curtain down on the 2014-15 campaign but with player movements and pre season friendlies being organised and announced, the time for the all important fixture day and diary planning draws nearer.

The Swans will be targeting even bigger things next season following last year’s success in Garry Monk’s first full season in charge. With the arrival of Andre Ayew and other potential quality signings line-up, the potential is there to at least equal last season’s success/

Hopefully next season we’ll finally kick off a Premier League season at home, as only once have we ever done so, in the 2013/14 season when we lost 4-1 against David Moyes’ Manchester United.

The Swans started off the last campaign with a memorable win at Old Trafford, beating Louis van Gaal’s side 2-1. The opener at QPR – a thumping 5-0 win under former manager Michael Laudrup was also a memorable day as Michu began a 22-goal season with a brace at Loftus Road.

We know the Premier League season begins on Saturday August 8 following the earlier Premier League announcement back in January, as it’s designed to give England manager Roy Hodgson additional time with his squad ahead of the European Championships this coming summer.

The final finish date for the campaign has been listed as May 15.

The Community Shield will be held on August 2.
