Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers believes that the team’s first away win ‘is coming’ after Saturday’s confidence-boosting win at home to Fulham.

The Swans don’t seem to have much of a problem on home soil, but their away form is an on-going concern, as they’re the only side apart from Blackburn Rovers who have yet to win on their travels.

However, Rodgers is confident that an away victory is coming, but they face a tough challenge this Saturday with a trip to Newcastle United.

‘The win over Fulham is a big boost and I do feel the away points are coming, that win is coming.

‘This will give us great confidence going into those two games.’

Newcastle are struggling with defensive injuries, and they’re 4 games without a win – a run that Swansea City ended themselves on Saturday – beating Fulham 2-0.
