Swansea City will finally be screened live on tv providing Horsham can make some upgrades to their ground.

Sky Sports have had meetings with Horsham regarding the FA Cup Second Round tie which they hope to screen live on TV.

It will only be shown providing they can make upgrades to their ground’s floodlights.

Horsham chairman Frank King said:

‘Sky told us we need to improve our floodlights to enable them to televise the match.

‘That should be sorted out tomorrow (Wednesday) and is likely to cost £15,000.

‘We are also planning to put up a temporary stand that will cost about £20,000.

‘If all goes to plan we’d make a profit of £40,000 as we’d get £75,000 from television.

‘One things is definite. We will not be playing on the Saturday because there is a parade around the town involving 8,000 people.

‘If the match is not televised we will stage it on Sunday at 3pm.’
