Roberto Martinez will be looking for a positive reaction from his players after the disappointing 1-0 defeat at the hands of Huddersfield town on Friday evening.

The squad will face a tricky away to 8th placed Tranmere Rovers.

The Spanish tactician has highlighted the clubs Home form is not acceptable and changes in certain departments will be put in place to improve Swansea City’s Home form.

The coaching staff have seemed to have got the positive reaction wanted as reports from the training sessions indicate the players are firmly focused on facing Rovers.

Martinez spoke to The Evening Post

”A reaction is vital for us against Tranmere.’

We have it time after time. It is not a question of the character of the players because I am not hoping for a reaction, I know we will have a reaction.’

we didn’t lose performance-wise against Huddersfield.’

But we need to get three points as quickly as possible. It is a very tight division and we have a game in hand also, so we are very much in the mix.’

Swansea City’s away form this season has been good in recent months but a trip to Prenton Park is very much a different prospect.
