Swansea City midfield duo Shaun MacDonald and Joe Allen started for Wales under-21’s today as they beat Malta 4-0.

Both players have cemented a regular first team place within Brian Flynn’s side and also played in the fantastic win over France in the Euro 2008 Qualifying group.

Today’s 4-0 win, with goals from Evans (2), Church and Williams puts us top of Group 10, 1 point ahead of Romania and France.

With 3 games left to play, against Bosnia and Romania (twice), things are so far looking good for us to quality for the major competition.
