The League One leaders were held to a 1-1 draw after a controversial end to the FA Cup 3rd round game. It was the league side that had started the brighter but could not find an opening goal as Jason Scotland and Leon Britton saw their efforts hit the bar.

It took 74 minutes to find a way past the Hampshire side when a trade mark Andy Robinson free kick put Swansea 1-0 up.

A two footed lunge by Hawks midfielder Brett Poate on Andrea Orlandi was to prove the catalyst for an already fractious game.In the resulting fracas Alan Tate was sent off by a under fire Stuart Atwell for violent conduct.

Should Swansea get past they will receive £60,000 from the FA prize fund which would take the clubs money from the the competition to in excess of £200,000 if the Liberty stadium club can secure safe passage with a win over the Hawks.

The Replay will be played on the Wednesday the 16th January.

Vital Swansea will have all the reaction to the draw.
