Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers says he hopes to add a fourth and final new player to his squad in January.

Rodgers has signed attacking midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson on loan from Hoffenheim while Cliftonville striker Rory Donnelly has also been confirmed as another new arrival on a permanent basis. The club are also looking to complete the signing of Darnel Situ, who couldn’t join us back in August as Fifa rejected international clearance for the young defender.

With those 3 signings, Rodgers hopes to add one more to complete his squad ready for the second half of the Premier League season.

Rodgers said:

“Gylfi is hungry to perform and I think he will be a terrific addition to the group,”

“Rory is another good one for us. He is one to develop and we will see how he goes over the next few months.

“I like young players with talent, and with the personality and hunger to improve as well.

“Hopefully we can organise something else in the same vein in the next day or two.”

Preston North End striker Jamie Proctor and Emploli frontman Riccardo Saponara are the recent youngsters to be linked with a possible move to the Liberty Stadium.
