The team line-ups have been confirmed for today’s 3 pm kick-off with a sellout crowd expected at Villa Park as Aston Villa welcome their new manager for the visit of Swansea City.

Almost 2,800 travelling jacks have made the relatively short trip to the Midlands for this afternoon’s game as Graham Potter and his side look to get over the 3-2 home defeat against Ipswich a fortnight ago.

Graham Potter has known to make some surprise decisions with his line-up and today is no different. Under-23s defender Cian Harries makes his debut and it looks like it’s a back three unless with Rodon and van der Hoorn keeping their places.

Nordfeldt also keeps his place despite a far from the convincing performance against Ipswich. Leroy Fer starts and captains the side alongside Jay Fulton. You’d expect McKay, Celina and McBurnie to form a front three.

New Aston Villa boss Dean Smith has named two former Swans in his starting eleven – Neil Taylor at left-back and former loanee Tammy Abraham up top.
