  • A howler of a first half saw us being pedestrian, sluggish and not understanding what system we were playing. To be fair to Clement he admitted he was at fault and changed at the start of the second half when we played well for about 25 minutes with an angry looking Abrahams giving us much needed energy. We were still guilty of giving the ball away in dangerous areas and it was no surprise when Mesa did just that and awful tackling by Mawson left Watford in for the winner. We couldn’t grumble because Watford were by far the best team. To sum up our slow and ponderous start to the game is becoming the norm at home. There is no spark and this must come from the manager.

  • We were all over the place Phil, another home game and another performance where the players all looked like strangers. Simple passes going astray, ball turnovers constantly and why didn’t he make a chance during 1st half when we were lucky not to give the game away? We were lucky only 1 down at HT. Watford were the best team yes, but they were poor too, which shows how bad we were
