The teams are out for this afternoon’s pre-season friendly as Swansea City continue their preparations with a trip to Matt Grimes’ former club – Exeter City.
The midfielder starts and captains the side today alongside George Byers in midfield. Erwin Mulder gets a chance to impress in goal and Naughton also gets an opportunity ahead of Connor Roberts at right back.
Elsewhere, Celina supports McBurnie in attack while Barrie McKay and Nathan Dyer start on the flanks.
It’s also understood that striker Borja Baston is among the substitutes. A player that’s been out on loan since our relegation from the Premier League, he’s a player the club are keen to get off the wage bill but so far he’s still at the club with no sign as yet that he’ll return to Spain for yet another temporary move.
