Swansea City manager Paulo Sousa calls out for Swansea City fans to deliver the same atmosphere as they did on Saturday as they watched his side beat Cardiff City 3-2 in a thrilling derby.

By the sounds of it, Sousa hasn’t been too pleased with the atmosphere and the support at home this year, and to be fair, the atmosphere hasn’t been nowhere near the level it was on Saturday.

Fans were even calling for Sousa to ‘sort it out’ not long ago, but those chants have now been replaced by ‘Sousa! Sousa!’ as they show their appreciation for the new boss.

Sousa told BBC Sport:

‘We appreciated the way, this time, that our fans supported us,’

‘I finally saw our fans push us until the end to get the win.

‘I hope in the future that it can be like that against all opponents.’

‘To improve our club and improve our team, they have an important task,’

‘This is what we have to improve. It is a call for more fans as the way they supported us in the derby was important. For us to be a better team and be stronger, they have an important task.’
