&headerbacSkybet have massively shortened their odds for Paulo Sousa to become Leicester City’s new manager , he’s now the clear favourite at 4/11 to take over at the Walkers Stadium.

Victor Chandler had odds of 7/4 earlier today, which were slashed down from 20/1 following a number of bets, while SkyBet offered 10/11 on Sousa to replace Pearson.

Chairman Huw Jenkins has insisted that he’s received no contact from our fellow Championship rivals, but it’s becoming more and more likely that Paulo Sousa could leave the Liberty Stadium after just 12 months in charge.

It might only be nothing more than forum talk and speculation but it’s strongly suggested that the manager and the board don’t have the best of relationships. They disagree on a number of things and Sousa was annoyed back in the Spring when he was refused extra funds to sign some loan players. With this in mind, the club may consider accepting a compensation fee for Paulo Sousa to allow him to join Leicester City.

Either way hopefully his future, whether it’s with us or the Foxes, will be decided very soon so we can quickly move on and continue with our pre-season preparation for the new Championship season.
