Swansea City boss Paulo Sousa revealed that he had 5 players out with illness for today’s FA Cup third round tie at Leicester City.

Sousa had to make 4 changes to his team, and while we thought he was resting players for the cup competition, some first teamers were missing due to an illness.

He said that Leon Britton, Ashley Williams, Nathan Dyer, Andrea Orlandi and Federico Bessone all had an illness:

‘Today was the best 11 we could have put out. Those we left out all had the flu.

‘I’m down because I’m out of the cup. It’s a prestigious competition and brings money into the club.’

‘It was a great strike from David Cotterill. We work hard to score goals from outside the box and it is something we need to do more often.’
