Paulo Sousa was disappointed after his side’s poor performance in the 0-0 bore-draw against Coventry City at the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday night.

The Swans put in one of their poorest home performances of the season as they struggled to threaten Chris Coleman’s defensive Coventry side.

Sousa said his side need to learn to adapt against defensive teams:

‘It wasn’t a good game but they closed all the spaces and it caused us problems,’

‘A lot of teams come here to defend and today I could see that we need to react more quickly.

‘Not every team will defend as well as they did but we made some bad decisions and must learn to keep possession better.’
