Brendan Rodgers expects his side to go out ‘all guns blazing’ tomorrow as Swansea City host Nottingham Forest tomorrow afternoon at the Liberty Stadium.

The Swans boss told the Official Site that it’s a big game on Saturday as we look to bounce back from a recent poor run of form, which has seen us not win a game in the last 3.

It’s vital tomorrow that we pick up three points as otherwise it’ll be a very hard task to achieve automatic promotion what with Norwich City in such good form.

Rodgers said:

‘It’s a big game, but we’ve got big characters and big players who I expect to go into the game with all guns blazing.

‘The last three results have been disappointing, but it’s my 35th week at the club and it’s our first bad week in terms of results.

‘Now it’s up to us to get back on track. There are probably 10 teams who all feel they have a chance of getting in there (Premier League) at the end of the season. But we’ve got Norwich to play at home so we’ve still got it in our own hands.”

The Swansea manager also disagrees that there’s pressure on the team after falling out of the top 2:

‘That’s not the case,”

‘We want the pressure of being in the top two. These players can handle the pressure and I hope over the last nine games they can demonstrate that they’ve got more than enough character.”

Brendan Rodgers is also boosted with the returns of Garry Monk and Andrea Orlandi who could feature amongst the substitutes, as well as new loan signing Fabio Borini.
