Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers shares his thoughts on tomorrow’s trip to Barnsley, as his side look to continue their improved run of form.

The Swans went through a bad run of form towards the end of 2010 but they’ve shown an improvement lately by winning 3 of their last 4 League games and they’ll be looking to keep that going at Oakwell on Saturday.

Rodgers says every game in the Championship is tough and this one will be no different:

‘They have a very good manager and good players and they’ll always make it tough, especially at home,’

‘So for us we still need to have our big concentration and ensure that we play with the same mentality and focus like we have done in a lot of our games.

‘And if we do that we can get the result we have achieved a lot of the time, which is to win, but it will be a difficult game.

‘We had a good game against them over Christmas but they do pose a threat.

‘They will be hampered severely by the loss of their two centre halves but it still doesn’t take away the assessment of them and their manager.’

Swansea City could complete a double against Barnsley having only played them less than a month ago on December 28th. Former loanee Jermaine Easter scored to give a 1-0 win.
