Brendan Rodgers is looking to bring in a winger and a striker according to chairman Huw Jenkins.

The new Swansea City manager has yet to make any signings since being appointed a few weeks ago. Dutch trialist Kemy Agustien could be his first but he’s currently recovering from a knee ligament injury in Holland.

Brendan Rodgers is interested in Doncaster Rovers’ Brian Stock as a replacement for Leon Britton, but Rodgers will look to Agustien to fill that gap as a move for Stock looks unlikely.

The former Reading manager is also looking to add a wide player and a striker to the squad:

Jenkins said regarding targets:

‘We’ve got a few options,’

‘Brian Stock was a player Brendan had talked about and I think we are fully aware of the Dutch trialist, and there’s one or two other possibilities we’ve got on board.’

‘Brendan would like to bring another wide player and a forward into the club,’

‘We are working hard to try and do that and find the right players at the right price we can bring in to help our case.

‘Perhaps over the next few days or week or two, we will do that.’
