Former Watford and Reading boss Brendan Rodgers looks set to take over as Swansea City’s new manager.

It has yet to be confirmed, but various sources are reporting that Rodgers has agreed to take join the club after being offered the job last night.

Chairman Huw Jenkins has failed with a number of other targets – including Gary Speed, as Sheffield United rejected 2 approaches to speak with their first team coach. We’ve now moved to look at other targets, and Rodgers could be unveiled as our new manager by the weekend.
