Brendan Rodgers shares his thoughts ahead of tomorrow’s tough game away at Nottingham Forest, and the Swansea boss says his team are performing better and better.

Despite of the squad’s on-going improvements though, we’ve yet to experience a win on our travels and we’re still looking for our first away point of our Championship campaign.

Swansea City have performed well away from home and Rodgers has been encouraged by how we’ve played, but we’ve yet to show that extra quality needed to pick up good results.

We started with a 2-0 loss at Hull City, and after that we experienced a very frustrating 2-0 defeat at Norwich City – a game we really could and should have won. Elland Road vs Leeds was also disappointing, as Dobbie put us in front but the Yorkshire club came back in the second half and took all 3 points in a 2-1 win.

Rodgers is predicting another tough game, he said:

We’ve got better with every away game we’ve played. Tactically we are becoming better.

We’ve performed well in every game on the road this season. If we keep performing we will get something.

‘We don’t need massive changes. We are only minutes and a few small things away from getting the result we want.”

‘I watched the game at Nottingham last season,”

‘I remember Swansea dominating the first-half and should have had a clear penalty (Darren Pratley).

‘It’s going to be another tough game on Saturday because Forest have some good players who will always be a threat.”
