Swansea City face another Pre-Season of searching for a new manager as Brendan Rodgers is expected to sign a three year deal to take over at Liverpool.

It has now been confirmed that the Swans will look for a new manager this Summer following Rodgers’ decision to accept a job offer at Anfield.

Former manager Roberto Martinez looked set to take over Kenny Dalglish at the Merseyside club, but after holding talks with the club’s owners, he didn’t take the job and declared his future with Wigan Athletic.

The Swans were then approached on Tuesday night for permission to speak to Brendan Rodgers, which they accepted. The 39 year-old then today quickly agreed to take the job, and he is expected to be officially unveiled as Liverpool’s new boss on Thursday.
