The young forward has been strongly linked with a move to the Liberty Stadium this week as the manager continues his search to bring in a frontman before the transfer window closes at the end of August.
He only has two strikers available to him for the next few weeks, as Craig Beattie is sidelined with a calf injury while Gorka Pintado could be out for up to 3 months after requiring a shoulder operation.
Rodgers told ITV Wales that discussions between the Swans and West Ham regarding Nouble are ‘on-going’:
“There are discussions between the chairman and the club (West Ham).
“It`s something that we will have to see what develops over the next few days.”
Rodgers is also hopeful to bring in Arsenal midfielder Henri Lansbury on loan, along with former trialist Kemy Agustien.
