Brendan Rodgers says he’s considering loaning out midfielder Kemy Agustien as Andrea Orlandi is close to returning from injury.

The Dutchman has shown his frustration recently over a lack of first team appearances since joining in September and he’s hoping to go out on loan to get regular football before the season ends in May.

Swansea City manager Rodgers rejected loan offers at first, but he now says he’ll look at Kemy’s situation next week.

‘It’s been difficult for Kemy,’

‘He’s a good lad, but he came here injured and the team started the season really well.

‘He has been in and out of the team, but the main reason it has been hard for him is because the other players in his position have done really well.

‘He understands that, but it might be good for him to go out and get some games.

‘When Andrea comes back, which could be next week, we will look at Kemy’s situation.

‘There has been interest from one or two clubs who are lower down the Championship, so there could be possibilities there.’

There has been speculation suggesting that Agustien has been left out of the team because he is unable to keep to team orders during games, but it’ll always be hard getting regular games in such a competitive 5-man midfield.
