Angel Rangel says getting a late injury-time equaliser at Doncaster Rovers yesterday shows the character within the squad.

The Spaniard scored only his fourth goal for the Swans and what a goal it was. Kemy Agustien launched a long ball up to the full back on the edge of the box, he chested it down before turning and volleying it home.

Rangel told BBC Sport he was pleased to score but the most important thing was the Swans got a point from the game:

‘To be fair it was a good goal but the most important thing is at least we got a goal as Doncaster is a difficult place to come,’

‘To get a point shows our character which is what we need in these kind of games and in this division.

‘We’re still third, getting one point is important, but it’s a long season so we have to keep going now.’
