Some key stats as Swansea City host AFC Bournemouth at the Liberty Stadium, as they go in search of their first ever Premier League win against the Cherries..

Team News:

Paul Clement only has defender Kyle Bartley definitely out, while striker Tammy Abraham is doubtful. He hadn`t trained up until Thursday`s press conference but Clement believes there`s still a chance he could play.

Bournemouth will be without Simon Francis (suspended) and striker Jermaine Defoe (calf).

Our record at home against Bournemouth

It doesn`t make for good reading. We`ve only averaged less Premier League points per game against Brighton (0) – who we`ve played just once, and Spurs (0.17). In 2 home games in the top flight, we`ve lost 3-0 – when Alan Curtis was in temporary charge last season, and drew 2-2 under Garry Monk when we came back from a 2-goal deficit.

Quick stats

Bournemouth are unbeaten in the Premier League against Swansea (W3, D1).

Swansea City have failed to score in 7 of their 12 Premier League games so far this season.

Bournemouth have scored two goals or more in seven of the last eight league meetings, including the last four at Swansea

Swansea could lose five successive Premier League games for the first time.

Bournemouth have won three of their last four Premier League games, collecting as many points in that run as their previous 11 matches combined.

Swansea have lost 7 of their last 8 games in all competitions.

The Swans have only had 23 attempts on target in 12 league matches this season, an average of just 1.92 per game.

Prediction

I can`t predict anything other than a defeat right now. Bournemouth seem to like playing us, and have hit a bit of form at the wrong time for us. They put 4 past Huddersfield and there`s nothing to say they couldn`t get a few against us as well. Our worrying lack of form in front of goal isn`t helping either. We`re not even averaging 2 shots on target per game, which is forcing us to have to be extremely clinical to scoring goals. 2-0 defeat.
