Former Fulham midfielder Darren Pratley has admitted he is ‘buzzing’ at the prospect of playing against his old club.

The Swans were pitted against the West London club in Sunday’s draw as a reward for knocking out cup holder’s Portsmouth.

And Pratley, who joined Swansea from the Cottagers, told the Evening Post that whilst others hoped for Manchester United, he was desperate to draw Roy Hodgson’s side.

‘I’m buzzing,’ Pratley admitted.

‘It should be a cracking tie and it’s great for us to be at home.’

We had great support at Portsmouth and it’s nice for the fans that we’ve got the reward of a home tie.’

‘Fulham are having a good season in the Premier League and they are a quality side, but we’ve beaten the team who won the cup last year and we’ll fancy our chances again.’

‘It’s going to be tough, of course, but it won’t be easy for them coming to the Liberty.’

‘They’ll have no problems with the pitch or the facilities because our ground is Premier League standard.’

‘But I know from coming here with Brentford in the play-offs a few years ago how intimidating the Liberty can be for the opposition side when there’s a big crowd in.’

‘I’m sure the atmosphere will be great and it should be a great cup tie.’
