Swansea City manager Graham Potter has added Ostersund coach Björn Hamberg to his coaching staff at the club.
A club statement confirmed the news:
“ ÖFK’s assistant coach Björn Hamberg immediately leaves ÖFK. ÖFK received a request from Swansea regarding Björn Hamberg’s services during the weekend. After consulting with Björn Hamberg, it was clear that his wish was to move and start working for Swansea City.
We in ÖFK have decided to let Björn end his contract and that he is free to switch to Swansea. We want to thank Björn for his time at ÖFK and wish him good luck at the same time.”

Hamberg will join assistant Billy Reid and recruitment analyst Kyle Macaulay as part of Graham Potter’s new backroom team at Swansea City. This has yet to be confirmed by the Swans but you’d expect this to happen within the next day or two.
