Portsmouth boss Tony Adams has praised Swansea City ahead of their FA Cup 4th round tie in 10 days time.

The former Arsenal captain is one of a number of managers who have praised Martinez and his side this season, as Chris Coleman amongst others have said the Swans are the best footballing side in the division.

‘I love the way Roberto’s team plays and I love the way he encourages to get the ball down and play.

‘Swansea have got a really good set-up, good coaches and a very good manager who will be a tough test for us.

‘It will be a tough game.

‘I’ve seen Swansea a few times and they are very similar to Bristol City.

‘They play a 4-3-3 formation and have very good technical players. They’re a good team, a tough outfit, they play nice football so it will be a test.

‘It’s the cup, anything can happen.’

Bristol City drew 0-0 with Pompey at Fratton Park, taking them back to Ashton Gate for a replay, which saw Crouch help the Premiership outfit to a 2-0 win.

The Swans avoided another cup upset in the third round, as they beat non-league Histon 2-1 away from home.
