Swansea City ended their Welsh friendlies with a poor performance against Port Talbot at the Remax Stadium.

A number of key players were missing tonight including Darryl Duffy and Lee Trundle. His absence added to the speculation that he was set for a move to Bristol City, but a few other players were left out of the squad.

After a goalless first half, the home side took the lead in the second. It wasn’t until late on that we managed to get an equaliser through defender Steve Watt.

Trialists Ibrahima Thiam and Jamie Price were both playing as they hoped to impress Roberto Martinez to earn themselves a contract.

Martinez has also stated that the focus changes from fitness to tactics when his squad plays 4 friendlies in as many days on their Holland Tour.

more to follow.
