Andrea Orlandi is calling for the team to get over a bad month quickly by kicking off April with a derby win away at Cardiff City.

The Spanish midfielder didn’t start in any of our 7 games in March as he was out injured but he made his return from a 4-week absence on Saturday at home to Ipswich Town.

Manager Paulo Sousa will also be happy to see the return of Joe Allen, as he has bemoaned injuries and tiredness for our drop in form – as we’ve won just 1 game in 7.

The Swans desperately need to get back to winning ways as our play-off hopes are beginning to slowly slip away, as 7th placed Blackpool have closed the gap on us significantly recently.

Orlandi said:

‘March is done and we now need to get over it,’

‘April is coming, we have the derby next week and we have to make sure that we get the three points against Cardiff.

‘I think it’s the best game to get over a bad period.

‘It’s a big derby and if we get the three points it’s going to be a big boost for us and will be very important for our target.’
