Swansea City winger Andrea Orlandi is a doubt for Saturday’s trip to Ipswich after picking up a muscle injury during the 3-1 win over Wolves.
He was handed his first League start against the former table toppers, and was impressive on the right wing.
Martinez had thought he had a full squad to choose from following the return of Thomas Butler but Orlandi’s fitness will have to be assessed over the course of the next few days.
Martinez commented on his injury, and told the Evening Post:
|‘Andrea has a little bit of a worry in his right quad,’ said boss Roberto Martinez. ‘He felt it a little bit in the game against Wolves and it never went away completely as we hoped it would.|
‘We will assess him over the next couple of days to see whether it will stop him being involved at Ipswich.
‘You cannot go into a game with that kind of feeling because you are risking further injury.
‘It can be that your body is telling you that you are in danger of something more serious, so at the moment I would say Andrea is 50-50.’
