Sean O’Driscoll says that Swansea City were worthy of a point on Saturday despite scoring a 93rd minute equaliser at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Doncaster Rovers looked like they had done enough to win all three points after Hayter’s headed goal after 16 minutes put them in front, but Angel Rangel volleyed home a late equaliser to give the Swans a share of the points.

Conceding such a late equaliser must have been hard to take for O’Driscoll and his players but the Rovers boss admitted that Swansea’s performance warranted a draw:

‘We are disappointed that the goal came the way it did, but we probably felt that 1-0 wouldn’t be enough for us,’

We had chances to make it safe ? their keeper pulled off a couple of great saves ? but I don’t think you could begrudge Swansea (a draw) when they played as well as they did.

‘They are where they are in the league because they are a good team.

‘When we saw the team sheet, we said to our players that they’d have done really well if Scott Sinclair came on.

‘They brought him on at half-time, which gives you an indication that we were doing okay.

‘Swansea are a good team and I’m delighted with our performance because we had to work extremely hard.’
