“We are a week away from the season, so there will be no messing about.West Brom were concerned that it was a testimonial but Roberto Martinez has said it will be a proper game. I hope it’s going to be a great day for everyone, especially my family. It will be a proud day for them. Because they have stuck by me through the good times and the bad times. I hope some of the fans turn up and enjoy watching some of the new players.”
