Norwich City have confirmed that they made a bid for Swansea City striker Danny Graham.
Manager Chris Hughton has revealed that they have bid for two players – the other being Celtic striker Gary Hooper.
Hughton didn’t go into any detail about the two bids, just confirming the bids have been made. He told BBC Sport:
‘It was documented that we have made bids for both players.
‘There has been a statement from Celtic which we have to accept but it is fact we have made bids for both of them.’
The Canaries will face some tough competition to land the striker, as Sunderland are still strong favourites to sign the 27 year-old, as the player seems keen to return near his homeland in the North East.
Swansea boss Michael Laudrup has revealed that bids have been received for Graham, and admitted he could leave or stay in the January transfer window.
We will have to wait and find out where Graham’s future lies, but it still remains likely that he could move on in the coming weeks.
