Norwich City manager Alex Neil has confirmed in today’s press conference that they are in talks with Swansea City about left back Martin Olsson.
Olsson has been a long-term target for the Swans, and was firstly linked with a move to the Liberty Stadium two years ago – see here

In Thursday’s press conference, Swans head coach Paul Clement also confirmed talks to sign Olsson:
‘The two clubs are talking about that possibility,’
‘The stage it`s at we`re looking to agree the terms.’
With Neil Taylor injured for around three weeks with a fractured cheek bone, the Swans are in the market for a left back and Olsson is expected to arrive for a fee of around £4m.
The Swans were in the market for a left back regardless of Taylor’s injury, as the Welsh international has proven that he isn’t strong enough in that position at this level, while Stephen Kingsley is still developing.
We asked Vital Norwich for their brief thoughts on Olsson on twitter:
@VitalSwansea he’s a great player. Easily PL class. Gets forward well from LB and links up well. A poor mans Danny Rose. Reg for Sweden.

Olsson would be our second signing in the January transfer window, following yesterday’s arrival of PSV winger Luciano Narsingh.
