Striker Luke Moore scored the only goal to give Swansea City their first win in their 3-match USA Tour.

After a 2-1 defeat in their opening tour game against the Colorado Rapids, Michael Laudrup’s side bounced back this weekend with a narrow victory against Ventura County Fusion.

Like that match, Laudrup named two different sides for either half as he was keen to see as many players in action as possible.

Luke Moore got the all-important goal mid-way through the opening half after converting Danny Graham’s cross. Wayne Routledge also had a goal ruled out for offside.

Swans (first half): Michel Vorm, Angel Rangel, Chico, Alan Tate, Ben Davies, Leon Britton, Jonathan de Guzman, Michu, Wayne Routledge, Luke Moore, Danny Graham.

Swans (second half): Gerhard Tremmel, Jazz Richards, Garry Monk, Ashley Williams, Fede Bessone, Kemy Agustien, Mark Gower, Andrea Orlandi, Gwion Edwards, Leroy Lita, Stephen Dobbie.

The match also gave Laudrup his first chance to see number one goalkeeper Michael form in action.

The Swans will end their USA tour with a third and final friendly match against San Jose Earthquakes on Tuesday 31st July, kicking off at 7.30pm local time.
