Swansea City manager Roberto Martinez says they will find a way to keep Gomez at the club next season if he wishes to stay.

The Espanyol midfielder has proved to be a big hit since paying £100,000 in the Summer for him to join us for a season-long loan.

Providing that he wants to stay with the Swans, rather than returning to Espanyol, Martinez says he will find a way of keeping him here for longer:

‘I would say the agreement is that if Jordi wants to stay at Swansea, we will find a way for him to stay,’

‘But nothing has been finalised ? nothing has changed since the start of the season.’

After scoring his 11th goal of the campaign last Saturday – a 25 yard free-kick at home to Ipswich, Radio Wales commentators said they valued him at £5 million.

He has the potential to make it in the Premiership and the Swans need to act quick if they want to sign him on a permanent basis.
