For the second consecutive game, Swansea City manager Roberto Martinez said his side deserved more from last night’s 0-0 draw at Carlisle.
The Spaniard said the same thing last Saturday after watching his side throw away a 1-goal lead in the injury time as Bournemouth won the game 2-1.
The Swans were particularly impressive last night and should have won promotion. We hit the woodwork 3 times and caused the 2nd placed side problems particularly in the second half.
Martinez told BBC Sport:
|‘We deserved more than a point.|
‘There’s no question of how this squad will perform and it was pleasure to watch them playing their football and stamping their authority on a very difficult ground.
‘Carlisle tried to create an intimidating atmosphere and the amount of bad challenges we had to suffer was disappointing.
‘But we’ll take it as a compliment when a team that is chasing you to top spot, feel they need to be that physical.’
