Swansea City boss Roberto Martinez fully backs fellow Spaniard Andrea Orlandi to replace Andy Robinson next season.
The left winger arrived at the Liberty Stadium last season but he struggled to make many first team appearances, mainly due to Robinson being the favoured left midfielder and an injury later on in the year.
But following his move to Leeds United, Orlandi looks set to replace him as our first team left winger.
Martinez also has Butler available for that position and he told the Evening Post:
|‘We have got Andrea Orlandi and Tom Butler in that position,’|
‘We all know of the talent that Andrea has. He will have one of the best left feet in the Championship.
He needs to go into pre-season injury-free and strong, and then we will see the best of him.
“Tom is also a big threat for us as well and he showed last season what he is capable of, so it is a good situation for me to have players battling for places.”
Some fans would argue that Orlandi is a better choice winger anyway, with his pace and crossing ability, plus the fact he’ll offer more width to us.
