Roberto Martinez is aiming for his side to go unbeaten for the remainder of the season and he believes that’ll be enough to reach the play-offs.

No team at the top is experiencing promotion form at the moment and with 27 points available, 20 should see us in the top 6 in May. 6 wins and 3 draws I think is a decent target to aim for.

To reach that, the Swans must get a win today at home to Crystal Palace, who lost 4-2 on Wednesday to our play-off rivals Burnley.

Martinez said:

‘It’s very tight and whoever can be consistent will finish in the top six,’

‘But remaining unbeaten for nine games would be enough for us to finish in the play-offs.

‘There will be different types of games. There are teams directly involved in the play-offs with us, teams in mid-table and teams in the middle of a relegation battle.

‘There are three teams going for the top two spots – and we’re one of six chasing the next three play-off places.

‘We are in a very good moment right now and I’m very excited about it.’
